Wacky and a Win...
Hey we won. Neat!
I think we gotta give the nod to Lackey for Panther for a very neat effort... If not, who do you think gets the Gold Star for Panther?

Has to be Lackey.
Depsite giving up a run in the first, Thunder Mountain bucked down and baffled the Mets for eight innings.
The Hunt for a Red October ...and please keep telling Clutch to chill!
If you don't give it to Lackey
You give it to Toriid.
2 for 3 and 1 BB, 2 RBI and 1 run scored. He was all the offense Lackey needed.
Just got back from the game
Best game I’ve been to live this year!
Lackey has to get panther, he was keeping the guessing all night and most of the hits he gave up were to guys you just can’t walk with their super low averages and non-existent power.
Torii definitely had the biggest hit of the night. His walk was also huge, in that he laid off some decent pitches and CK backed up his hard work with an RBI single.
No alpha order today… I just forgot… and too lazy to fix it up. just do your basic CTRL+F search for yer name. That or realize that if you didn’t pick hunter you got 0.
Chart it up! Game on!

Finally
This was my fourth home game attended this season. And the first win. The other three were Judy Garland debacles, including some double-digit disasters. Not that I haven’t seen him toss some stellar games on television, but I’ve seen a whole different Dorothy in person.
Let’s face it: the Knickerbockers had some bad juju from the get-go. From the inexplicable small hours firing to that disgruntled helmet toss in the first inning – from that moment on I knew it was going to be a good night.
Naturally I Spartacus that Big Thunder gets the kitty.
And what is with these NL fans? Why are they inexorably such belligerent townies? Take for example the missing link two seats down from me who was wearing a Mets shirt and a backwards, orange Angels cap with a Disney-era logo… what?
So yeah, awesome night, honorable mention Panther goes to Santana for making my night grand…
By the way, 5 clams for a lower view seat is not a bad price for an evening’s entertainment.
Halos Forever.
panther goes to the ground crew
well, maybe not, lackey pitched a hell of a game. but you gotta love that ball that stayed right on the line. woot!
"Here we go baby, 'bout f***'n' time!"
I got into my seat early last night
And really watched the ground crew prepping the field for the first time.
I imagine it was nice for them to see all that hard work pay off after Howard’s AB.

You wanna see some fun ground crew action?
Watch them try to lay out the tarp when it starts to rain! It happens so infrequently that they have, like, zero practice at it. Either that, or they only practice when it is dry (so they fail to account for water on the tarp weighing it down and preventing it from being moved once it is unrolled).
We watched them last year and they failed miserably. They did not even manage to get the tarp over the pitchers mound. Half the infield was under water. We then watched them scramble all in circles trying to dry out the water. It was like watching the keystone cops!! It was hilarious…
Lackey
After his injury I was a little worried. Appears to be better than ever. Like a fine wine.
Angels Defense. Angels Pitching. Get past that. :-[

Since challenging Duckie to a bet that we'd score 5 runs a game from here on out...
... we’ve scored 12 in two!
I'm assuming then
that you want GA out of the 3 hole ASAP?
or that he will get injured and someone more productive will replace him…Rivera, Willits, my little sister, etc…
This is bad Vlad and his band of wimps!
weak

Why weak?
I used to wish injury on Erstad ALL THE TIME so that someone – anyone – else would play his position. It usually worked for him, but no go with GA.
Really though, is Scioscia won’t play the right guys after almost 300 AB’s of evidence, why shouldn’t injury be wished on the players that are getting the playing time despite being complete out-machines?
I see nothing wrong with it – we’re not talking heart attack here. I’d settle for a twisted ankle or a pulled hammy. Something to sit his butt down for 30 or more games so Rivera can take over LF.
GA is out tonight with some knee ailment...
K3 and jimmus celebrate.
