Rev, can you post a list of nicknames and how they got them. Wife wants to know why i say “side salad” for Naps. though i do call him nipples too.
I was eating a pizza
at Z Pizza in Long Beach (next door to the amazing record store Fingerprints). As I looked up from my slice, I saw the menu, which indicated that you could purchase, among other sides, a Napoli Salad. Eureka! I had found it. (Second-hand information says that Mike likes his nickname.)
a napoli is also a type of pizza from Z pizza
its cheese with tomatoes on top. It was actually the first thing i thought about when i first saw napoli in the lineup at a game in 06.
