My visit to Citizens Bank Park
I had the pleasure of going to see the Angels play the Phillies last night. This first photo is the view of the stadium from my seat. we had seats in the Hall of Fame Club section #221 Row 1. Great Seats!
Unfortunately, due to traffic, I missed the top of the first and Guerrero's Home Run. This is a picture from Vlad's next at bat.
Santana had it going on last night. He was dealing. Struck out the side in the 4th, and made it look easy. I have to say I was worried before the game that Utley was going to bust out of his slump against Santana, but it turns out I was worried for nothing.
Here is the scoreboard during the bottom of the ninth inning. I am glad that I took the picture when I did, because the cleared it off right after the game was over.
Here is a picture of me after the game basking in the glow of another Halo Victory.
When we were walking out of our seats we walked up past the Broadcast booths, and Hudler saw me in my Angels shirt and gave me a thumbs up as I walked by.
Overall, this is very nice stadium, and I hope to make it back, and get there early enough to be able to walk around the stadium and take it all in
As soon as I have my photos in an album, i will put in a link to all of my picture from the game.

I didn't get
any comments on the shirt, although I did get some looks from people.
Also, one other note from the game. Kendricks one double, should have been an inside the park homerun, just like Prince Fielder’s was the other day. When Laz Diaz, ran out and picked up the ball, he did it very easily. Why he ruled it a double, I’ll never know.

I love that stadium
The year Ryan Howard won the MVP I lived just across the Delaware River in New Jersey and went to as many Phillies games as I could. The stadium is beautiful and the atmosphere is electric.
Although the fans deserve their reputation for being negative, angry, and mean-spirited, they generally reserve that for the players, usually their own players. For all I saw, fans of opposing teams were generally treated well and not harassed, even after a loss.
The only time I ever saw a fan get harassed was at the first game of the Giants series after all the steroid allegations came out in “Game of Shadows.” I was sitting by the right field foul pole and some fans were mocking a a guy in a Bonds jersey. However, the Bonds fan probably brought it on himself as he spent much of the game taunting all the Philly fans around him and yelling about how Bonds was the man.
That whole night was crazy, the Philly fans were in rare form launching taunts, profanity, homophobic slurs, and every other kind of offensive speech you can think of every time Bonds came into view. A chorus of boos followed Bonds around the stadium as he went from the visitor’s dugout to left field and even around the bases. But the worst stuff I have ever heard at a baseball game came from the mouths of a group of 12-14 year old kids when Bonds (and the chorus of boos) made the trek from left field to the right field corner (right underneath me) to check on Moises Alou after he injured his ankle.

Unfortunately for Philly fans
That’s not “rare form” at all. I’ve dealt with Eagles fans a number of times at FedEx Field and they’re comparable to Boston fans if not worse. Boston fans are far less vulgar.

last night's game, and today
I was at last night’s game and got some boos but nothing bad. I have been to old vet stadium to watch Eagles v Cowboys now that is bad.
Going today’s game with my nephew (his first game) I’m going to try to convert him.
