Switch Pitcher?
I don't think anybody else posted this yet, so here goes: Pat Venditte was selected in the 20th round in this year's draft, and has begun his minor league career with the Staten Island Yankees. What makes him interesting (and worthy of 8 minutes of your time) is that he throws with both arms. He switches between throwing lefty and righty each time a batter comes up. In a recent game, he faced a switch hitter who kept jumping between the boxes, and that led him to keep switching throwing arms!

The internet destabilizes every hierarchy it contacts.
Yeh, saw this on SportsCenter a few days ago
I actually had a conversation with a friend about this very subject. Then we attempted to throw the ball left-handed and came to the conclusion that it’d never happen because switch-throwing is just so damned impossible.

In fact
we tried for about two hours to throw with our left anywhere near non-girly. I ended up feeling somewhat disoriented as my brain tried to adjust. It was all very strange.
I’ve been thinking about this exact topic for years now, I want this kid in our bullpen some day. Or starting rotation.
I brought sexy back, but they only gave me store credit....

Scott Van Pelt introduced the Angels as the “Under appreciated Angels”

Calling time
Isn’t there a point where if the batter is not in the batter’s box, that the pitcher can just throw the ball? It seems to me that the batter should not be allowed to keep changing positions…all the pitcher is doing is changing hands which doesn’t take any time.
I read that the rule is the pitcher can't switch sides during an AB.
Whichever side he starts with, he has to stay with throughout the AB.
