Some love from online baseball media!

Sorta...

Over at 1866baseball.com they pride themselves on... well, I'll just let their homepage intro describe it for you:

Star-divide

The teams are full of professional players with terrific power to defend the opposition team using there capacity of playing. Information about team history and legend players is provided in our site of baseball. Entire site has focused on the achievements made by each team in the baseball history. See the collection of excellent teams of baseball in 1866baseball.com.

These guys study up on their history in baseball and baseball equipment.

In any case the meat of the story is in their recommendation for watching all of the Angels games to "study every match of this team." The author concludes with the Angels being his "all time favorite team." Neat.

Just one catch, however, as they seem to be recommending the 2005 Angels club as their version of the best baseball team ever. Guess we take the wheat with the chaffe.

Here's the link, and take heart, hh'ers: we've finally been noticed by the media! Enjoy.

LOL

What is this? My favorite quote was:

My all friends like this team & they are study every match of this team. Every
player this team played very well & with luminous resistance power. Overall this
is my all time favorite team.

What the hell is “luminous resistance power”, and who writes like that?

Check out the White Sox page

About Bobby Jenks:

All players of this team are amazing but my favorite player of this team is Robert
Scott "Bobby".

I prefer Orlando Luis “OC”, but I’m clearly biased. At least there is no mention of Anthony John “AJ”. It goes on to say:

Do you know his fastest pitch was clocked at 102 mph on August 27, 2005
at Safeco field. This is brilliant. This is very superb man. I am very happy to watching
play this man. Overall this is unbelievable man in my opinion.

Robert Scott “Bobby”: brilliant, superb, and unbelievable… man.

I like it

Unfortunately, it says much the same about Francona. Most of the comments on all of the teams are relatively similar, but no less entertaining.

I've heard of the Eatern Bias...

but the FAR EAST bias? That’s a new one.

"Never throw the ball so far over the fence where you can't go back and get it." Chuck Knox quoted through Darryl Henley

Rich Harden webmaster?

"My feel really was awful today," Harden said.

Found in this article:

Scioscia Says: "There are some hitters that need to start to see more pitches and work some counts, but there are guys that are more productive seeing that fastball and squaring it up. There are different solutions to each hitter and that's what you're working for. There's no pill you give to the whole team and have them all of sudden get into your offense."

The trend is catching on.

Or the disease is spreading for all the pessimists in the house.
