A well deserved panther for Frankie
even if he tends to spread out the way he earns them. ERA of 2, 24 saves in 25 chances, safe to say he’s on the shortlist for All-Star game relievers.

He’s still laying it in there on a friggin tee. Sexson’s GIDP was hit hard right at Howie and Johjima’s shot to center gave me that Oh Shit! feeling in my gut.
I’d give Torii or Howie Panther for making both of those plays before I gave it to Speier.

it also appears like the bottom of the mariners lineup did more for the angels than the angels did for themselves

It will always be satifying that the Angels were the ones to make McLaren snap,
and if he gets fired, the ones that hammered the nails in his coffin.
