Johnny Damon almost pulled a Figgy today
6-6 with a 2 out walk off single in the bottom of the 9th. Figgy’s perfect night on 6/18/07 ended with a walk off triple. Still the greatest individual sports performance I’ve ever had the pleasure to witness from the stands. Man that was a great night.
Over/Under is 72 hours for how long this will be the lead story on SC.

Well, with any other player on a normal team (not the Yanks and the Sox) this would last, maybe, an afternoon. With Damon, playing for the Yanks and previously for the Sox, this lasts a week.
