Sexson released; Bedard to DL; Seattle suicides markedly increase
Not much info here, but the title says it all:
Richie Sexson is released by the laughably spiraling out of control Mariners (36-55) while the major offseason pickup of Eric Bedard is placed on the DL.
And sports pundits have further proved how little they know about baseball once again by picking the Mariners to win over the Angels.
Just how bad are these guys going to be?

This si GOOD news for them
Grandma Moses in that lineup would be an improvement over Sexson. The Bedard move though is excellent in that it probably prevents him from being traded at the deadline and Seattle getting a nice prospect or two…

Every Mariners fan, especially those with the middle initials LL, hate Sexson.
Eric Bedard on the DL is just his excuse for not feeling like playing right now, and a reprieve from having to face the dreaded sports reporters.

This year it's the Tigers..
How many times do I have to hear, “they’re up” one week, then “oops they’re done” the next. Give it a rest guys.
Let no joyful voice be heard! Let no man look up at the sky with hope! And let this day be cursed by we who ready to wake... the K-Rod!

Thank you AL West
Have the Angels ever gotten so much free help to a title? Last year was pretty comfy, but prior to that, we were always fighting tooth and nail to the end. Not to say we don’t have time to botch things up this year, but the other teams sure are doing whatever they can to keep us in first. Now, Texas just needs to have their 1-4 hitters catch ebola or something. Maybe not that severe, but something fairly detrimental.
I swear, if one more person tells me to "work smarter, not harder"...

Tonight's 11-10 win threw comfy out the window. :)
It’s never easy for the Angels. Winning the AL West is always tough.

Sexson will be paid close to $8 million to sit and do nothing for the next 3 months.
Players never lose.
