So apparently now the A’s do fireworks on Friday nights too, and as I waiting on the BART platform last night to go back to SF, I was watching their rendition of big bang fireworks extravaganza whatever, when to my evil pleasure I noticed that just off to the side of an offramp for Highway 580 a FIRE had started in a clump of dry brush, no further than a few Rich Gannon “hailmary’s”—apparently one of the fireworks from the show went askew and landed in the clump of greenery by the freeway! It was quite a sight, and no, unfortunately the Mausoleum did not burn to the ground, but it was one hell of a way to take the edge off of a tough loss!
Justin Speier, seeing your ass take the mound yet again has just inspired me to gouge my eyes out
