Going to the Big A

I am going to be driving down to So Cal to take my sister to UCLA to tour the campus during the weekend of Aug 8 while the Yanks are in town. While I am down there, I would like to enrich my California Baseball experience and take in a game from Angel Stadium.

Star-divide

I would assume that it is hard to get tickets at face value at Ticketmaster or the box office for the Yankees games. So far I have been checking the Orange County Craigslist and broker sites like StubHub for tickets, are there better places to go for tickets?

So my good friends to the south, know of the best place to sit at the Big A, good spots to park, things to eat/drink, etc?

scalpers will be everywhere for that game

but you’ll get ripped off. stubhub, ebay, and craigslist closer to the game are all decent options. ticket exchange used to be the best but theyve since gotten rid of that

Or go head over to Yankee Doodle...

On third street in Santa monica. Or south street in Westwood. Make sure to stop at Diddy Riese in Westwood on Broxton across from the “Fox” theater for $1.25 cookie sandwiches.

Let me know if you want further UCLA info from a current student perspective.

Ebay stores

is a good place to find tickets, too. Look for the small link “check stores inventory” all the way at the bottom of the screen below all the stub-hub links.
