It’s definitely a special time when you welcome a new life into the world and into your lives. But I hope you got some sleep before the arrival… you will never sleep well again for the next 18 (or more) years.

Just don’t name your next kid “Mighty Mouse” or “Mice Tits”. However, “Figgy” and “Side Salad” are great names.

Yep.

First thing I did when my daughter was born was kiss my wift.
Second was call my father-in-law and apologize (for dating his daughter)
Third was to get out my knife collection and whetstone

Advice: Buy a gun once a year around her birthday time, increasing in size/caliber as the years pile up. Then, on the day of her first date, have all of the guns ranging from a .22 pistol to an AK-47 assault rifle laid out in the living room, and make sure you are cleaning the largest one when her date walks in to introduce himself.

Now you can smile and be friendly, and the point will be well made.

Congrats Matt, My nice is 11 Months and she has been a blessing to the whole family

Enjoy every moment with your daughter because they grow up fast and they just bring so much joy to everyone. Just wait till she starts making funny faces at about 10 months it is the funniest/cutest thing ever!

Oh and BTW he did not name his daughter after Izturis.

Izidora is the female version of Isidoro (My Grandpa’s Name, may he rest in peace), but they substituted the “s” with a “z”

Matt, enjoy the first 10 or so years. They’ll love you unconditionally. But realize that after that age, it can get kinda dicey and sometimes they hate you. It’s worse for dads: you’re both a parent and a boy. That’s two strikes.
