F you MLB/Fox

Sweet, nationally televised game, I’ll just switch on Fox! Uh, no, I live in san diego, so they’re showing the Padres/Cardinals here. Sigh. Oh well, I have MLB.tv, so Ill just settle for that. Nope! National broadcast so it’s blacked out! Haha, joke’s on me.

Real smart guys, a dedicated fan who spends extra money to watch games on a daily basis has no option to watch a marquee matchup involving his favorite team. That’s the way to keep a fan base!

You know what sucks?

My broadband service at home is down, so I’ve had to take the laptop into Inverness Scotland town centre on a Saturday night (think Baghdad and you won’t be far off). So watching on the lappie in the only quiet place in town, a posh hotel with wifi and a horde of blue-hairs. Plus I can only get 400K MLB.TV here.

And YOU are in SoCal. Sucks to be me.

by highlandhalo on Jul 19, 2008 1:21 PM PDT to parent up reply reply actions actions   0 recs

Quite possibly

But if you were Mike Scioscia and kept running it all day long about balls and strikes, eventually it would be the heave-ho.

Saunders needs to establish HIS strike zone and start drilling the Red Sox inside. That’s why he needs command of that fastball on the inside corner, not down and away.
