Hey hey...
GA stole against THEM…payback is a beotch.
by Downing Rules on Jul 2, 2008 3:40 PM PDT up reply actions
the offense is better the last two days but
-we can’t throw base stealers out
-our defense has been shaky
—we don’t steal bases anymore
then again, we doing okay to say the least
Angels in 08!
I think the inability of both Nipples and Jeffy to throw out runners is particularly disturbing.
...and surprising, considering this is a Mike Scioscia team.

ty
Weaver is especially bad at getting to the plate quickly.
Garland and Sanders are really the only ones that are even average at holding runners.
Santana and Lackey are in the slightly below average category.
And the relief core isn't much better
Oliver is really the only one I’d rank as good.

they might be a little gun-shy after Mathis' 2 week "let's play catch with Torii" phase

if we continue scoring runs at more than 1 per 37 innings
and we’re winning, i’m cool with the ocassional error.
i believe our defense is still best in the league

Talking about the rooster sauce made me hungry
Anyone here had a barbacoa fajita burrito and Chipotle? Now those are good, although I haven’t added the rooster to it yet, only the chiptole tabasco sauce they have.
Those are both awesome
But try going down to one of those Mongolian BBQ places, ask them to fry up whatever kind of meat and veg and noodles you want, and use that Sriracha sauce on the side. Mmmmmm.

I know how you feel man
Five years in the UK, and every day I kick myself about how I used to drive past hundreds of the best Mexican food joints you’d ever want to eat in in your life.
There is ONE really good Mexican restaurant in London.
Don't call me Desmond
Which one is that ?
I know there is plenty of good Indian food. I’ve had that many times when I used to live in the Netherlands and went to London about one or two times every three months.
yea in So Cal we are so spoiled with the food we have available.
Being a melting pot = best food choices ever
By the way for those who live near HB, try the combination fried rice at Thai Pepper which is on Beach Blvd and Talbert. You won’t be disappointed
When I was in France & Europe for 5 months
The one thing I craved most was a good burrito

mmmm Chipotle.....
we have one right around the corner.

I miss Chipotle.
Also Taco Bueno. Iowa is not good at Mexican food, even the chains.

ooooo
have you made it out to a Kernels game yet?
you can’t be a diehard fan if you don’t go see a Minor League game when you can.
I see a couple quakes games a year!
I've been out there once.
I usually just head over to the I-Cubs park here in Des Moines. They play one series a year vs the Stingers, most of the time.
~Till the Halo burns out...
nice to see him luminously coming around

Let's see if Frankie is as awesome as he was yesterday
Haven’t seen him that good in a while (even though he has been very good this year). Yesterday he made it look way to easy!
Does anybody remember the game when we were in a hitting slump about 10 years ago?
Scioscia made everyone use 1 guy’s bat for the first three innings. I think it was Alfredo Amezaga’s bat.
Don't call me Desmond
was that when Scioscia was coaching Albequerque?
