Hard Core Soth
"Scioscia was dismayed to learn the Spectrum In Philadelphia will be demolished next year. Scioscia, who grew up in the Philadelphia area as a hard-core Flyers fan, said with a smile that he would chain himself to the arena to keep it from being torn down."
Mike Scioscia said the team was discussing its options for OF Gary Matthews Jr.

The Spectrum
was the site of the most exciting sporting event I’ve attended in my life thus far: the 1992 NCAA East Regional Final, between Duke & Kentucky – the Laettner game. What an experience. At the end, everyone in attendance gave both teams a standing ovation for several minutes.
There will always be a soft spot in my heart for the Spectrum.
Good story
in the late seventies , locker rooms at the spectrum were connected by a long tunnel. They had to weld in a huge iron gate in tunnel, do to the fact after the game the Flyer players would walk over to the visiting teams locker room and kick the piss out of them.
Im a i the only Halo and Flyer fan here?
Ok, I'll bite (pun intended)
Why are you a Halo and flyer fan?
Angel Pitching, Angel Defense - get past that.
