The Angels' 10-game margin is their largest since Aug. 16, 1995, when they had a 10½-game cushion.
Nuff said.

"Life is a luminous halo, a semi-transparent envelope surrounding us from the beginning of consciousness to the end."
Why would you mention '95?
Shame on you!
Write to the Angels front office. Get Tim Salmon's number 15 retired!
George Santayana.
Francisco Rodriguez: 188 career saves. 2 career Panthers, tied with Hector Carrasco.
Don't do that again, man
That’s wrong. Think of all the brothers and sisters that went through ‘95 and the ones we left behind. Fuckin’ flashbacks.
Moratorium, Rev …
Don't call me Desmond
I call your 1995, AND your 1986.
And raise you with 2002.
You fold.
Francisco Rodriguez: 188 career saves. 2 career Panthers, tied with Hector Carrasco.
Those cards will come up with the next deal...
Francisco Rodriguez: 188 career saves. 2 career Panthers, tied with Hector Carrasco.

lt's over, Johnny. lt's over!

Nothing is over! Nothing! You can’t just switch it off!
l did everything to win, but someone didn’t let us win.
Where is everybody?
There were all these guys. There were all these great guys!
D’you remember Gary DiSarcina?
l went to get a couple of beers. The box was wired. He opened it…
There were body parts flying everywhere.
He lay there and screamed… l have all these pieces of him on me!
Just like that. l try to get him off me, my friend! l’m covered with him!
Blood everywhere and so… l try to hold him together,
But the entrails keep coming out!
And nobody would help!
He just said: ’’l want to win!’’ And called my name.
’’l want to win, Johnny! l want to drive my Chevy!
But l couldn’t find his legs.
’’l can’t find your legs!’‘
l can’t get it out of my head. lt’s thirteen years ago.
l see it every day.
Sometimes l wake up and don’t know where l am. l don’t talk to anyone.
Sometimes all day long.
Sometimes a week.
l can’t get it out of my head.
LMAO... well executed sir

It's not over...
It’s not over until we say it’s over! Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor?
Angels fan since '67
Floyd's right.

Psychotic, but absolutely right. We gotta take these bastards.
Now we could do it with conventional weapons. But that could take years and cost millions of lives.
No, I think we have to go all out. I think that this situation absolutely requires a really futile and stupid gesture be done on somebody’s part.
We’re just the guys to do it.

It's always good to be reminded that no lead is ever 100% safe.
Whatever others may say, we haven’t won the AL West until we’ve mathematically eliminated every other team in it.
*Visiting Angels fan* Never give up, never surrender!
I had a good time watching the Halos in 1995...
saw a lot of good Angels baseball (some bad, too), moved back to LA after a 6-year hiatus, and watched the entire collapse, nearly every single home game attended from June to September. It was tough to take, but it was such a relief to be back watching live baseball again, rather than raspy radio broadcasts and never seeing them on TV. Dark ages, I tell ya.
I had bought season seats in June to assure myself of some playoff seats so I could take my Gramps, as he had attended all the 79 82 and 86 playoffs. It didn’t work out that way, as it ended up.
95 was the year i moved to anaheim and became an angels fan....
6th grade at a new school.. 1st year of pee wee football… and the 95 halos made for a very awkward pre-teen year… thanx for opening up old wounds !!
