Scot Shields is my vote for panther of this one. He was simply nails. A lot of excellent performances from our boys though, including GA, Kotch, Juancho and Desmond.

Angels had all the momentum, Saunders lost it, Shields got the biggest out of the game and an awesome 8th.
By the way, can someone explain what was with Frankie not throwing any sliders to the first 4 batters, he finally started throwing them with the tying run on 2nd base (and he only threw one) to the 5th batter of the inning. Possible injury? Frankie trying to show he doesn’t need his slider which is one of the best 5 pitches in all of baseball?
