Apparently, there's going to be a rule change for baseball in this year's Olympic Games.
If the games go into extra innings, the 10th inning will be played the same, but the 11th inning will start with two men on and no outs. Teams will start from anywhere they want in they're batting order. (example: Start with number 3 hitter, 1 and 2 hitters on 1st and 2nd with no outs).
This is beyond stupid. Forgive me for being somewhat of a purist, but this is like a backyard rule... in the OLYMPICS! You would think that something like this would call for the game to be played in its purist form, not by some made up rule.
What do you guys think?
