GA is old school

He comes from the days when blue was our predominant colour. So the old school blue smoke still comes out his arse when he really fires up the jets. GA, is however too lazy to change to new red smoke when he needs to fire smoke out his arse.

Great quote by Torii though, a new nickname for GA courtesy of the Domino Rula … :)

Ultimate team-mate

Torii Hunter is one of those guys you love to have in a clubhouse. The only one like him I can remember from the old days is Gary DiSarcina, who could dish out nicknames with the best of them. DiSar would sit by his locker for hours and sand his bat handles and sand the bat handles of any teammates who wanted them sanded, and he’d invent nicknames for guys.

If I recall correctly, DiSar was the one who called Mike Fetters “The Human Head” because Fetters had no neck to speak of. Someone better versed in Angels history might have to double-check this, but I’m pretty sure it was also DiSarcina who coined the nickname “Kingfish” for Tim Salmon. Pretty sure DiSar made that one up and the press picked up on it.

Torii is cut from the same cloth.
