Executive Decision
I am closing comments for the rest of this game.
Here we are, best record in baseball and the game threads - as well as the fan posts - are filled with everyone taking every comment personally and whining like little bitches.
Understand, we are here to have fun amidst the most enjoyable Angels season ever.
Read the rules in the right sidebar, adhere to them. My ban-for-life button is on high alert. Act like a disgruntled third-grader and you are GONE, I don't care who you are (except, well, scottnak).
This is your only warning. If you enjoy this site, be enjoyable or it is goodbye.
This Fan-Post is authored by an independent fan. Tell us what you think and how you feel.

this site should be all about love….especially in times like these.
"Life is a luminous halo, a semi-transparent envelope surrounding us from the beginning of consciousness to the end."
Im like Matthew McConaughhey,
All about the bongo drums, nude tribal dancing, and other calming influences. Any one feel me?
YOU DON'T KNOW THE POWER OF THE DARKSIDE.....
i promise i won't call the cops like his neighbors
"Life is a luminous halo, a semi-transparent envelope surrounding us from the beginning of consciousness to the end."
it had nothing to do with our criticism of the team and everything to do with the ciriticisms of EACH OTHER.

okay good. I was a bit worried.
So its a good thing my boss kept me at work until the 2nd inning, i missed out on those juvenile shenanigans.
my thought
ANY start of BS like that again….one warning. There should be NO insults or words venomously tossed like that. This same crap happened last year resulting in a few of us boycotting the insanity. (yes the girls, it got to be demeaning)
delete the post and sanction the person until the next game. End of story. time to play hard-ass. People want to spew that stuff can go elsewhere.
Personally, I want to be associated with a classy, true sportsmanship blog that I can be proud to say I belong.
this is why i'm not a big participant in game threads....
lots of word vomit being spewed.
"Life is a luminous halo, a semi-transparent envelope surrounding us from the beginning of consciousness to the end."
there needs to be less....
hating on soth
hating on hatcher
hating on each other
hating on the angels
hating on gmj (not because i disagree, but because we all get it by now)
and more…
hating on weaver’s hair
hating on the bosox
hating on ga (because its funny, not because i agree with it)
hating on lack’s ugliness (but loving his greatness)
hating on every booth guy that isn’t rex
that’s my opinion…and i’m stickin’ to it.

Just send me the talking points...
I’ll back you up.
Seriously, we can and should talk about whatever we want to talk about. If it isn’t agreeable to someone, that is part of the process of debate. What we need less of is people being internet assholes. Just because you can say stupid shit on a blog doesn’t mean you should. I said a stupid-ass thing to PhiSlamma the other night and immediately regretted it. I apologized and I think we are generally fine now. Simply put, remember that there is a person on the other side of the conversation – not a damn computer.
Jim Scully
Yeah
I say stupid things on a daily basis, but I know when I do an generally apologize. This is a blog website, everyone expects sillyness or stubborn internet fights, but for the most part everyone is friends here.
I brought sexy back, but they only gave me store credit....
make him an offer he can't refuse
Wait a minute, no more hating on Hatcher?
Anyway, it should always be business, never personal.
Wow, Re-reading that whole thread Im embarrased by some of the conduct.
I dont know if this is a first time occurance by some of the people in there, but it’s disgusting.
I know you mentioned in Las Vegas Rev that some of these types of shenanigans were going on during the Allstar game, we’re better than this people. Let’s focus our anger on GA’s laziness; not each other.
Yeah. Besides, if GA weren't so damn lazy
he’d have made sure those fights never happened in the first place.
~Till the Halo burns out...
If GA wasn't so black...
No, seriously…
I want to crystalize this here: I am so happy with this team.
I don’t care what happens at the end of this season. The boys have given me enough elation already this season.
Serisously.
Santana blowing everyone out of the water; confounding all expectations.
Lackey being the mouth-breathing rock we want him to be.
Thee Impaler finding his groove.
Torii showing potential of being worth his salary, but being the most charing human on Earth anyways.
GA being a rock we can call our own.
Frankie, no matter where he goes, being our heart attack, our burden.
Figgy? We knew him back in the day.
Kotchman – show me a better first baseman. You can’t? That’s okay… No, Youkillis with his silly bouncing doesn’t count.
Mighty Mouse – that’s some clutch stuff right there.
Soth – would you have it any other way?
Let’s face it: this is as good as it gets. No matter what happens.

Seriously?

Really? REALLY? There is so much I want to say regarding these statements, but I’m just too lazy. And a diatribe seems unfitting after the ugliness from earlier. However, it is my sincere wish that nobody else here would agree with these comments. Nobody.

Dude
I was really tossed last night. I’m a maudlin drunk.

I think he MEANT that he's very appreciative of how the season is going and that he can't imagine that
things could be better. I’m sure he meant that this point since things CAN be better. After all, best Angel season ever at this point. I wanna see them finish it off in style!
Look, I'm sorry to waste all y'all's time actually replying to me
This morning I found all these comments on all these websites and blogs that I have no memory of writing, but I definitely wrote them. Kind of scary.
No more drinking and posting for me.

There should be another button instead of preview that says:
ARE YOU DRUNK? CLICK HERE…and it takes you to a site where a magical hand comes out of your screen and slaps you upside the head! ;)

This is almost a good idea...
But instead of a slap, it should be a hand j-
Oh never mind.

The overwhelming majority of posts I make are under the influence of alcohol.
Including now.
I’m just glad you don’t really feel that way. Welcome back.

The trade deadline is in 2 days, it is the biggest story in baseball
People should be able to discuss it.
Seattle I would like to thank you for sucking. It allows me to get back to my roots: Hating Fremont.
Kobe tell me how my ass tastes
I reviewed the game thread from last night
something I never do, by the way. Although it did get a little nasty and needlessly personal, it seemd isolated to a a very few easily irritated individuals who, given the benefit of the doubt, had a bad day.
This is still a site inhabited, for the most part, by an intelligent, witty, and fun fan (in the fanatic sense of the word) base. I hope it stays that way.
Thanks Rev for trying to keep it that way
GA GA he's the man, if he can't do it, no one can
what's the only rule on this team?
Everybody love everybody!
