All these years I have been spelling it “Teixiera” as in “i before e except after c.” No, I am not going to correct all of my old scorecards. To spell Teixeira I will think of Old McDonald’s Farm: e-i-e-i-o. The only time there is an o in Teixeira is when he has an oh-fer. Hopefully those will be few and far between.
