Mark Gubicza just said on the Baseball Report on FSN that the Angels are the ones that will pull of the trade for Matt Holliday.

Not like our announcers to be talking rumours. What exactly did Mr Gubicza say? Was he vague? Was he forthright?
Please tell me it’s Quinlan for Holliday straight up so the Rev has to eat crow.

Gubicza said Angels need the big bat to win a world series, and they were talking GMJ in the trade.
He indicated Angels had the lead over any other team to pull off the trade and that Holliday was a sure bet to be traded by the Rockies. That was about it. Plus Rosenthal was on earlier reiterating what he has already written on FOXcom.
Maybe if he's informed he'll rot on the bench or be DFA'd unless he accepts a trade?

He'll do that every once in a while though.
He had a great 3 game stretch in may. He’s either totally dominant or bad. Really Santana-ish type of variance, and that’s why I’m still pretty high on him.

things look good for the Halos. Just turned on ESPN Baseball Tonight, they were showing the plays of the day, they showed a sweet play by Kotch (where he threw to Weaver) but they were talking about the Sox during it and none of the announcers paid attention to it.
