I voted for Mathis
which is a foregone conclusion at this point. Even with his 2/4 performance with 3 rbis and 2 runs scored with a GREAT play at the plate - which many people have underestimated - Garland deserves it just as much for getting his 100th win on a 1 run CG thrown with 98 pitches.
mathis played an outstanding game........
hopefully he can translate it to more consistancy…......

he got the game off on the right foot… on base 3x’s … garland pitched a gem but the game was well out of hand… kudos to mathis as well… we’re gonna need him to step up… naps is going on the DL with a shoulder inflammation

Even though I am a Napoli fan, if Mathis can start to play like that, I will be satisfied. In any case, Side Salad is on the 15-day DL for now…

Panther is Juan Rivera
May this game be a shot across Soth’s bow to play this power source more. Jettisoning GMJ to the pine once and for all and plugging in Rivera - who, by the way, has one of the finest arms from the OF - would do wonders for this anemic offense. Juan just needs the reps.
