He draws so many walks compared to the other guys, and he'll get his fair share of XBH since pitchers will have to pitch to him. Not when we have Morales comparatively for free over 6 of those years. 10 years means he’ll have been out of his prime for 5 years by the time his contract ends.

Vlad was 28 when he signed his contract too. I wouldn’t go over seven years and I’d prefer five or six. But, someone will offer seven…guaranteed.
