Izturis to the DL, K-Mo called up
As you can see in the Game Notes, Maicer Izturis was placed on the 15-day DL today, and 1B Kendry Morales was recalled from AAA Salt Lake.
I doubt Morales gets any playing time, but he's nice to have on the bench. Maybe we'll see some S-Rod while Izturis is out...

I've seen lots of S-Rod in the dugout lately, but so far on the field it looks all Aybar so far.

But if Aybar needs a day off sometime between now and 2 weeks from now, hopefully we’ll get more than a small glimpse of SRod.
I have no problems with Aybar at SS… actually, i like him better than Izzy (not sure why). i’m just saying it would be nice for SRod to play a few, considering he figured out how to hit in AAA
