You know, both Lackey and Weaver did this too.
Maybe it’s a function of the Indian’s hitting style where they foul off about a million pitches every AB, rather than a failing of our pitchers.
~Till the Halo burns out...
Interesting observations...
I think that this season he has always been able to make the pitch to get out of an inning. The AB that killed him was the HBP. Batter leaned out over the plate to get hit…that was on the umps. He gave it up on the next batter. IF hits and routine grounders are finding holes…agreed he may be a little tired, but he is not pitching badly!
Whodathunk we would be rooting for a former Ranger come August...?
Am I the only one who thinks it possible he just had a poor start?
If Joe doesn’t make 6 innings today it would be the first time since June.

I thought this organization values RISP2 hitting?
Well, at least we can rely on RISP2 wild pitches and terrible defense.

The Angels
can thank their lucky stars for the Indians’ defending in this series.
Fail. Fail. Fail. Fail.
Excellent, more awesome Cleve defense!

Is this an even game or an odd game?
He gives up a run every other appearance, so it would be useful to know.
Witty .sig goes here.
And there goes the go-ahead run
Speier is teh suck. Again.
Can’t run Arredondo out there every day, I guess, but I’m getting to the point where I’d rather see Loux in these situations.

It was right there, hit him in the glove.
Howie makes the dig, the guy’s out.
~Till the Halo burns out...
I really like Howie, but the more I watch him the more I see the need to work on his defensive fundamentals...
his footwork is not good and I do not like the way he reaches for the ball…let the ball come to you, the tag is much easier!
Whodathunk we would be rooting for a former Ranger come August...?
Always been seen as a weakness for him
Howie’s bat was always his ticket to the Show.

I keep reading how it has improved etc...
not seeing it!
Whodathunk we would be rooting for a former Ranger come August...?
It's gotten a lot better this year though.
No reason he can’t continue to improve. Look at Figgins. Last year he was a mess at third, this year he’s just shy of being Scott Rolen.
~Till the Halo burns out...
He said that about Napoli last year.

Q's advantage long term is that he can play 1B, 3B or even some outfield
but why he is playing today instead of Kendry, I have no clue
Angels in 08!
Line drives are never failures.
If your hitting line drives, that’s all you can do.
~Till the Halo burns out...
More two out doubles
maybe we can capitalize.
I brought sexy back, but they only gave me store credit....
