They had clips on the news of dudes surfing...actually, about 30-40 guys were out. It was crowded, and yes, it was going off!! I gave those guys props, and that's probably the best they'll ever see their local break get.

My mother in law lives in Venice, FL

That’s about 60 miles south of Tampa/St. Pete. She reports they didn’t get a drop of rain. She was evacuated yesterday and has been given the green light to return.
