Anyone notice what Shell is doing?
Glad he's doing well! It's not like the Angels could use him I mean what with Speier and Loux.

Playing well, in his first season, for the Nats? Really?
Hey, remember Derrek Turnbow and his AWESOME season in AAAA (AKA NL)!? And then the league figured him out and he’s never been the same since? I wonder whatever happened to that guy? Oh wait- he got DFA’d.
Bulger is down in AAA putting up INSANE numbers. If we need someone to replace Speier for the playoffs/stretch run, that’s who we use.

I agree though that I’d rather have Bulger than Speier or Shell. The Angels just need to bring him up.
Unless someone gets injured
I don’t see any players coming up until after 9/1. And if the Bees or Travelers are in the playoffs, even later than that.
The sense of urgency is just not there with a 16 game lead.
That said, I agree it would help to get Bulger some time with the big boys prior to the playoffs.
