Hate when Halos play the Rangers

Damn blackouts, yet the FSN channel wants to play Baylor football.

Not so sure it is a solid evaluation with the Rangers in town. SP is making his 2nd career start in the bigs

Hey, if it's AAA pitching, maybe Wood and S-Rod will be able to hit him.

Not his second career start though, just his second with the Rangers. McCarthy was with the White Sox for a while. They traded him for John Danks. Now Danks is a staff ace, and McCarthy is still trying to prove he’s a big league pitcher.

Needs more DP Jon.

Though throwing a strike to Hamilton after falling behind 3-0, you should count yourself lucky it’s not 2-0 right now.

http://bills.sportsbloggingnetwork.com/

by norcaliangelsfan on Aug 28, 2008 8:05 PM PDT to parent up reply reply actions actions   0 recs

Wel, both those stats suck

But a pitcher who can strike people out is often more successful since he can control whether the bal lgets into play.

by Carl Johnson on Aug 28, 2008 8:06 PM PDT to parent up reply reply actions actions   0 recs

A dropping K rate is BAD news, as is a low K rate.

Garland has never had good K rates, hence his consistent mediocrity. But a DROPPING K rate is a sign he could really suck going forward.
