This is sort of a re-run.

Lefty Matt Harrison of the Rangers made his debut against the Halos and held them to 2 runs over 7 innings. Then gave up 5 runs in his next start and couldn’t get out of the 3rd. Gave up 8 runs in the start after that.

Either he is TOO confident or blind; he SHOULD KNOW that the Angels tend to suck pretty bad against pitchers they haven’t seen before. How can he, in a game that he therefore knows is going to be tough, decide to sit down Rivera AND Anderson, and to make things worse, play Matthews AND Quinlan – and not even Willits ?

It just baffles me.

This has been the Halo MO since I can remember. If you are a proven veteran – the team finds a way to get runs off of you. If you are a rookie – or just friggin’ suck – you are likely to get a quality start or better…

It is a crazy, crazy thing. It’s one of those things that makes me wonder if the same is true for other franchises – but I just don’t follow them on a daily basis…

Anyway, get some friggin’ runs!
