Torii is doing everything in his power to make Teixeira sign to the Angels long-term this offseason.
Have I mentioned how much I LOVE this signing?!

Looks like Torii has some serious competition from some Baltimore fans:

The Orioles fans feel like it is their natural right to have U-Haul in birdland since he was born and grew up there even though his home is in Atlanta where is wife is from and where he, his wife, and kids currently reside.

if he went to baltimore, id say we really didnt want him anyway

we want winners, not paycheck collectors. If you go to baltimore, you dont care about winning

every quote i've seen from him basically states...

“It’s not about money… I want to be on a winning team.”

my guess is Baltimore won’t be considered.

This is from CNNSI.com baseball power rankings.........halos number 1 of course

Torii Hunter is willing to do whatever it takes to keep Teixeira in the fold. “I’ll probably take him out to dinner, wine and dine him, let him see the O.C. and L.A.,” Hunter told The Press-Enterprise. “If I’ve got to put a mask on and threaten him to sign at night when he walks to his car, I’ll do it.”
