Halos Heaven party ?
So,
In the Strike Force thread/poll, and in several older threads before, the idea of a Halos Heaven party, maybe as an alternative or extra to the Las Vegas party, was mentioned.
Without going in to too much details, I'm just curious to see how many people would actually attend such an event; meet with fellow HH-ers, drink some drinks and eat some stuff from the grill - to name just a simple idea.
If you are interested in such a thing, what do you think the agenda should be like ?

If it were while a game was on, that'd be cool too.
Or we could just meet somewhere, with laptops, and sit in the same room but communicate through computers.
The Vegas meet up sounded sick. I had to work…bummer, because I love Fremont street and the itinerary had a bunch of spots I like hitting up in Vegas.
Whatever dude.

Well, that's basically what I was thinking - to do it while a game was on
But that means we can’t have any player visit.
Hey you! What are horse mackerel!
Hey, the chair are sailing! You believe that I am toad of the month!

Ahh. If it wasn't during a game, how would you think you'd get a player or players to come? That'd be rad, but it seems like it'd be hard to pull off.
Is anybody going to hang out with Reggie in Garden Grove today at the DQ?
Or to Murrieta? I forgot who was going to be at that DQ? Josie Wales?
Whatever dude.

Not so hard as you might think
If you consider that I share parking spaces with some of them.

LOL, I know what your talking about. That would kick ass, I would attend with or without players.
Put Kendry Morales at 1B, and move Sean Rodriguez to 3B......NOW LETS GO WIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Reggie at the DQ
my boyfriend and his family went to the DQ in GG and got some autographs from Reggie… but they said that they were disappointed because reggie didn’t even look up. They handed their stuff to Reggie’s ” handler” and then someone else handed it back to them. Either way they got something signed and got to see a Halo up close….
During a game would be great.....
followed by a game of “match the face to a screen name”.

Ya when we get there we all get a number to pin on our shirts.
Then everyone takes a guess who everyone is and then we all share our answers. or better yet you have a number then there is a sheet for each number with all the screen names and everyone goes and puts a check next to who they think they are.
NEWAYS I like your Idea

I AM PLANNING A PARTY FOR SEPTEMBER
It will be at a game, it will be before the game and after the game too. Put away ten bucks now and you will enjoy yourself come mid-September.
I'd have to put away a whole lot more than ten bucks if I wanted to come... >_>;
~Till the Halo burns out...
Sweet I'll be 21 by mid september!!!!!

Maybe somebody can do a live stream from under the Big A!

I forget there are places where you're still allowed to do cool stuff.
My softball team has almost forfeited games because the league director sees us drinking beer. WTF? I thought this was softball!
Whatever dude.

It's probably a safety thing...
When you are standing at the plate, and the pitch is tossed, those little hoses that run down from the cans strapped to your batting helmet can swing free and hit you in the eye. There is probably some insurance problem with that…
