Which type of Angel's win do you prefer?
The first half of the Angels 2008 campaign was generally characterized by low scoring wins featuring excellent pitching. Conversely, the second half thus far has been characterized by offensive shellackings of the competition.
As I listened to the 8 run 8th inning in today's spanking of the Spanks, I noticed that I was having a heck of a lot of fun. Let's put it this way, my finger nails have had a chance to grow out in the past few weeks.
So, my question to all of you is, which type of win do you enjoy more, the nail biter or the slug fest?
P.S. Isn't it sweet to even be able to ask the question, "Which type of Angel's win do you prefer?" Big wheel keep on turnin'!

For the Halos, the Horton theory.
And that’s how I voted, since you asked for “Angels’ victory”
However, in general, I enjoy a pitchers’ duel more.

Depends on the team...
If it’s against the Red Sox, Yanks, A’s, or Rangers, i like a good old ass wuppin. I like to see the Halos pour it on and beat them into submission. Against the rest of the teams a good pitching duel is fun to watch. Kick butt with the ESPN favorites or our rivals. And finesse and just out class the rest of them.

Blowouts are better for my blood pressure
Though in theory, I like comebacks better.

Today's game was close.
A pitcher’s duel early, wherein you can clearly see the impact the Angels’ pressure offense has on defenses, and enjoy the thinking that goes into every pitch. Every Halo baserunner changes everything.
Then, late in the game, the Angels are down a run or two. In comes The Rally Monkey. Always awesome the way that gets all of us fans together as a supportive community. Let others call it lame, but compared to Mitch Miller styled instructions on the Jumbotron telling fans to “Cheer”, “Clap Clap Clap”, and “Louder!!”, we got THE ace rally force in teh universe.
And then we crush them. Score something like, oh, I don’t know, 8 runs in the 8th inning and totally demoralize the other team. Let them sit there and sulk in abject failure for about 45 minutes while they face the inevitable steamroller crushing over the pavement as it comes to flatten them, and they are left to think to themselves “WTF? All those guys at ESPN told me that we were supposed to be so much better than these guys…”
So, the only thing we missed today was the early onesy-twosy offense. Other than that, perfect.
Francisco Rodriguez: 191 career saves. 2 career Panthers, tied with Hector Carrasco.

They're both good
as long as you buy them at Howards. Now can we finish the game?
