The 19th Weeklyad Results Ceremony
Welcome to the weekly edition of the Halos Heaven Pregame Guesses Results.
But because I've been really obsessed with the olympics, all I really could come up with a nifty sounding title... Anyway, if this week were to result in medals, I'd have to press out a gold and 3 silvers to take care of the top scores. Nifty? Meh.
[Week 19 Results]
[Cumulative Results]
There ya go. The top 3 for the cumulative hasn't changed this week. but the battle for bronze is a heated one, and the silver is becoming a closer race. Gold looks like it might not be changing for a long time... if ever. In addition, the purple line of elimination has started to appear! Fall below that line and your farfetch'd hopes of getting first disappears.
Don't forget to make your picks for tomorrow's game tomorrow!
Oh, and USA! USA! USA!

So, the fact that I made my picks for tomorrow's game today, and
did not make my pick’s for tomorrow’s game tomorrow, means I failed?
Francisco Rodriguez: 191 career saves. 2 career Panthers, tied with Hector Carrasco.
I'm going to need to make a late-season push....
.....in order to become an unfathomable back-to-back champion.
You should put your championship in your signature
I didn’t know you were last years champ. And besides, as the Rev stated earlier in the season, there are no prizes, just bragging rights.
Angel Pitching, Angel Defense - get past that.

i vote for a return to traditional ODP or runs/hits
i was always better at those… you never know what you’re guessing these days.

Here is the problem
People were posting their runs and hits “for the next month” and things like that – it got to be a bit predictable and the goal is to have people involved in the site, not phoning in an order and waiting for a September Pizza…

Actually, it got a whole lot more predictable than that.
I went back and figured out what the most common runs/hits results actually were for the past 100 games, and just started submitting those same values every night. Over and over again. I did not start participating until after the AS break, but still ended up in the top 20 or 30. Essentially, I was not even playing, but I was doing better than anybody while I was participating. And, yeah, that made it easier for me (than other folks) to claim that those were my picks for the next several games while I was going out of town and unable to post.
