Don't take this lightly. This is a fantastic accomplishment.
For an old-timer like me who had to endure the drought of 1987-2001, winning the division is signficant. A frustrating 15 years of futility marked by teams that either hoped, sucked, or choked, but never made the playoffs.
Ain't no stoppin' us now. We got the groove!

I think I am older than you...
I remember listening to Angel games on the radio in the early 70’s…part of the “Tanana, Ryan then start crying” days. The offense those years was just horrible. With a decent offense, Nolan Ryan would have won 20 games 3-4 years in a row.

I saw Napoli, Lackey, Mathis (+girl giving him lap dance), Oliver, Quinlan, Weaver, and Moseley there after Game 3 of the ALDS last year. I’d imagine there’s lots more of them there right now—that, or apparently a place in Yorba Linda.
