A lot of those cheaper end tv’s have the same screen as some of the higher, bigger brand tv’s anyway. Back in Europe you could get every Philips TV as a “Aristona” tv which was significantly cheaper.

Doesn’t mean we should feel bad for him. He is FLAT OUT terrible this year and has been ALL THROUGHOUT this entire season.

If a guy comes to work for me and he sucks at his job, even though he’s my friend, he shouldn’t get that job untill he’s (a lot) better.

Speier has been terrible since the beginning of the year and we’ve seen NO improvement whatsoever.

But I do not consider Santana’s last year in the same category as Speier this year. It was quite obvious it was mental, at least it seemed that way. His stuff would look great but one little thing would go wrong and the dude would blow up.

Teixeira has been plagued by an infection that began giving him fever-like symptoms Tuesday night. He was out of the lineup on Wednesday and again on Thursday for precautionary measures. The medical staff is just making sure it’s not a staph infection, which Teixeira said is likely not the case.

As for Kendrick and Aybar, the two middle infielders stepped up their running program to include running the bases on Thursday. Aybar’s hamstring, however, is closer to healing than Kendrick’s, and the shortstop could return to the lineup sometime next week, while Kendrick’s return is still unclear.

“Howie and Erick ran today and ran the bases and looked very strong running,” Angels manager Mike Scioscia said. “We’re going to pay a lot of attention to their rehab and where they are. We’re going to err on the side of caution because of the nature of hamstrings and where we are right now with making the playoffs.”
