Yeah
I got 2 sets of 2 tickets for Game 1 and 2 tickets for Game 2. Game 1 is in the view section and Game 2 is in right field pavilion.
I didn’t realize how easy it was going to be this year, so I only requested 2 tickets. I most likely could have gotten 4 if I tried it the first time.

Nice
Heh, I wouldn’t care where I sat, I’d just love to be ABLE to afford Playoff Tickets…err…ever. I’ve never attended a post-season game in any sport.

504 row H
selected 2…
I got tickets in spite of being kicked off of Ticketmaster for pressing too many times…they thought I was a computer program. Won’t make that mistake again.

Game One: 503 row R
To be honest, I had to get cheap tickets and am happy just to be in the park.

I have 2 tickets to game 1 and game 2
both in the 500’s somewhere, but at least it’s something.

I TOTALLY SPACED!!
Man….got the email yesterday and was so stoked then got wrapped up in a project this morning and TOTALLY forgot about it until about 10 minutes ago. I could only pull singles.
Game 1: 529 Row K (I’ll be standing in LF for sure)
Game 3: 237 Row R
Might go back for a Game 2…

Ticketfast
Is anyone receiving theirs via Ticketfast? I’ve tried to find mine and it says they will be available in the next 24 hours. Anyone else having the same issue?

Shouldn’t they know the dates before they make the tickets available. I’m not happy that there was no Will Call available. That’s lame.

Will Call
I would have preferred that, or even US Mail. There’s plenty of time to send them out. They won’t know the game dates until possibly the final weekend of the season.

Yep
But instead the consumer is forced to pay $2.50 to print their tickets ON THEIR OWN PRINTER USING THEIR OWN INK.

they’re not sending out tickets until they confirm that the orders are proper – i.e., that nobody violated the rules re: # of tickets purchased.
by jjackflash on Sep 17, 2008 11:06 AM PDT up reply actions 0 recs
And number of games...
I thought you are only allowed to buy from ONE GAME. I did this in the past and TM cancelled my subsequent orders for other games. (note, I used only ONE ticketmaster acct to buy my tix, probably a mistake).
by Downing Rules on Sep 17, 2008 11:37 AM PDT up reply actions 0 recs
Did they cancel every ticket you bought?
As patti is suggesting? Or did they let you keep the first and cancel the remainder?

I got
a pair for the second game, section 411. I interpreted the restrictions as allowing us to buy tickets to only one game, regardless of the number of tickets purchased. Otherwise, I would have tried for a pair to each game. Oh well.
by jjackflash on Sep 17, 2008 11:05 AM PDT reply actions 0 recs
YES, Ladies and Gentlemen
you could only purchase up to 4 tickets for ONE game.
Those of you that got multiple games will get emails from Ticketmaster in the next day or so telling you that since you violated the rules, they are refunding all your money and you’ve lost ALL your tickets!! You won’t even be able to keep a single ticket.
I wondered myself if I could purchase up to 4 tickets if I only needed one ticket per game, so I called and asked before they went on sale. I was told NO. That we could only get ONE game, and if we got more with the same credit card, then they would take them all from us.
by pattimelt on Sep 17, 2008 11:11 AM PDT reply actions 0 recs

All I’m saying is that if they gave out the same ID to everyone, they cannot make a case.
I used to program systems like these. Sending out the same ID is dumb.

Cannot make a case?
I have no idea what you are talking about…
It is not the code. OK, we all understand that.
It COULD BE credit card, I don’t know, I’ve always used the same one.
It COULD BE ticketmaster account. I’ve only used one and never tried creating a second one (probably the best way to do it if you want to buy more than one game).
If you give out EITHER cc or TM account “to your friend” then you will certainly have that subsequent order that “your friend” filled out cancelled.
Are we saying the same thing here?
by Downing Rules on Sep 17, 2008 12:04 PM PDT up reply actions 0 recs
I'm not saying they're not going to do that
All I’m saying is, it would not make sense if they did because people can have actual VALID excuses like the ones I mentioned above.
They could’ve prevented this by sending a UNIQUE code to everyone.

You are right on the one game thing...
but, I think you are wrong on the “you’ve lost ALL your tickets” front.
I have done this in the past and got to keep only the first set I had ordered.
The other sets were cancelled without even an email. I had to go into my TM account to view my orders and the orders for which I even had receipts were not even listed at ticketmaster.

I've seen it 3 ways
I had a friend who lost all of them. I lost the ‘second set’, and had another friend who got to keep all. I’m not sure there is any rhyme or reason to it.
