Top 10 Angels Moments of 2008
Phys and Hud had this list up on the screen tonight during the bottom of the 4th or top of the fifth. I missed most of it but was hoping someone caught it and could post it in the comments?
it went something like:
- Angels Welcome Torri Hunter
- Torii's Walk Off Grand Slam
- Texeira slams Yankees
- Aybar...
- Yada Yada
If someone can post it, i'm curious how everyone felt about it, i.e., if it really did capture the best moments, and if not, what it lacked (what you thought were the best moments so far).

I thinkit is from the ANgels site

I think the Torii Walk-off Grand Slam is hard to top.

I guess it is just an FSN thing
a chance for Steve Physioc to rebroadcast his limited broadcasts from this season…

I'm not seeing it on their site
And i’ve been looking all over it.
Agreed though, on the TH slammer. I would be surprised if 5 of the 10 in top 10 weren’t TH feats.

I don't know if it is on the Angel's website
but i’d have to go with the Boston Red Sux sweeps.

And they appear to be in chronological order
Because the Hunter catch over the Mariners was pretty early — they were still sort of in the race at that point in time. Remember, Hunter ended the game with that catch and jogs in to the mound celebration with his right hand pointing skyward?

nay
the speed of willits was before we got Tex, if it’s the one i’m thinking of…
was that the one where Reggie scored from 2nd on a sac. bunt, or something?
Kotch would've had that.

Yeah, that was balls
I’m not sure it was a bunt, but I remember the 1st baseman double clutched like he couldn’t believe Willits was going for home.

Aybar drove in Willits (from 2nd) on an INFIELD SINGLE! Amazing. It was the nail in the A’s season for 2008.

Lackey's complete game against Boston on July 29th, with 8 1/3 no hit innings is notable.

That should be in there for sure.

Prior to the graphic, they gave 2 video reviews.
One was Mathis’ 6 RBI day. I forget the other. So the announcers spoke about a Top 10, but the online voting is only about a Top 8.

Dondo hosing the fans was awesome,
and hosing the opposition all year. He is really a key to this year’s success. Imagine if we had had Bootcheck all season instead.
