Lone Star Ball is reporting on their front page that Michael Young re-injured his already fractured finger in the Ranger’s last game Wednesday and was taken out of the game as a result. They are saying this could be season ending for Young though he is listed day to day. It does’nt sound like he is going to be appearing in any game any time soon.

The injury underreporting continues..........
Juan and Vlad were supposed to be back for the A’s series. Then they were supposed to be back tonight. And Figgins was day-to-day. And the Angels are “optimistic” about Howie. What a mess.

Aybar was supposed to be “day-to-day,” and so they didn’t put him on the DL. He wound up being out more than 15 days (not that it really mattered, what with rosters expanding). Kendrick’s injury wasn’t supposed to be as bad as his first one.
Escobar was supposed to return around the all-star break.
I don’t really trust their injury reports anymore.
