Can't believe...
I didn’t choose a catcher in the PGG bonus guesses from Sunday, even after reading Scioscia’s quote that they were going to bring up a catcher to give added depth at the position. Duh.
not a bad idea
give our starters some added rest. why not throw adenhart in there. looks like he could benefit from some experience
uhhh, no...let's give Nick another year at SLC
Thanks anyway!
Whodathunk we would be rooting for a former Ranger come August...?
Is Bobby Wilson still hurt?
It’d be nice to see him get some hacks in, in the bigs.
Shine on, luminous panthers!
Scioscia's quote...
mentioned that he wanted to bring up a couple of arms without completely depleting the playoff contending Bees. Not sure where I read that, maybe at the Angels web site Sunday.

...and to bring up a catcher, as I mentioned above...

McPherson / Kotchman news...
Casey Kotchman was brought off the restricted list back to the Braves. His mother is “improving” after an aneurysm. Let’s hope the best for her.
Dallas McPherson was brought up to the Marlins on 9/1. He won the Minor’s HR title with 42 on the season.
AHHH
i got 2 of them.. i didn’t think Moseley would get called up again.
dang
Mike Scioscia: He provides to unlike method of your team member.
Anybody notice they freed up a 40 man roster spot the other day by dropping Serrano?
Whodathunk we would be rooting for a former Ranger come August...?

i wonder who they’re gonna add…

That's Four points for me!!!!!!!!
I’m looking forward to seeing how Moseley does. I still don’’t see why they need three catchers when Soth only uses Mathis most of the time. Depth I guess.
Mathis 252 AB's, Naps 174
That’s pretty even compared to most teams. Especially considering Naps was hurt. But, I’m with you 44FAN. I wish Naps was the regular. Mathis is not threatening in the least. By the way, we’ve carried 3 catchers before, even to start the season, i.e. the Mo Bro’s and a 3rd catcher (Jorge Fabregas or Josh Paul).

Damnit,
and I was torn between Morales and O’Day, too, lest I’d have joined you.
Personally, I think having two long relievers is a mistake — why add more Speiers to the fires? — and we should look towards offensive production. However, bringing up a middle infielder would be good as HK and Mice-tits are both out. I should’ve thought of that one.

At the end of the day, I don't give a crap about the Bees playoff hopes.
And neither should Sosh. I would like to have seen what Wilson could do versus what we are getting out of Mathis right now. Budde strikes me as “more of the same”.
Francisco Rodriguez: 199 career saves. 4 career Panthers, almost 1/2 as awesome as GMJ.
