D-Mac up with Florida...and drawing walks.
So far, in two games, D-Mac has 5 plate appearances, 3 walks, 2 runs and 1 K.
Here's hoping he crushes the ball and makes the Halos look stupid for letting him go.

The question for Dallas was whether or not he could stay healthy.
For his sake, I hope he does. He never had a long enough period of time in the majors to see if he could hit on a consistent basis.
Agree on the good wishes for D-Mac
Disagree on the “make the Angels look stupid” portion of your comment.
The Angels gave him a lot of chances, but Dallas couldn’t stay healthy. It was not smart to let him go when they did, but they had to let other prospects move up to be fair to them. Where would Brandon Wood have played this year?
Huh?
Here’s hoping he crushes the ball and makes the Halos look stupid for letting him go.
I don’t get this at all. It would be cool if he hit, but why would I hope it would make the Angels look stupid? And how COULD it make them look stupid? He hasn’t played in the majors since ‘06, and now he’s played two games in September ‘08. It might suck a bit if he started to tear it up and remained great for the rest of his career, but it wasn’t working out with the Halos.
White trashin' the 909
Then why pay for the surgery and not take th etime to allow him to rehab it?
Seattle I would like to thank you for sucking. It allows me to get back to my roots: Hating Fremont.
Kobe tell me how my ass tastes
Exactly...
My point is simple. They babied him, gave him time to recover, signed him again, rehabbed him again, etc. Then released (or non-tendered?) him.
Wha?
Why not keep him now that he is healthy and see what the hell might come of the $1,500,000 in medical bills they (or insurance) paid to get him in “baseball” shape.
That’s all. If he is fine, and crushes, then the Halos look – at the very least – foolish for letting him go without giving him a last opportunity to show what he can do when healthy.
