wtf has gotten into Uribe?
http://bills.sportsbloggingnetwork.com/
by norcaliangelsfan on Sep 6, 2008 4:34 PM PDT reply actions
Really didn't look like there was any reason for Naps to go in front to get the long hop from Vlad
Willie Mays Aikens is FREeeeeeeee
yea I was thinking the same thing
It was a nice hop right to the plate it wasn’t like he had to go out to get a short hop and avoid an in between hop. But then again do we really want Naps blocking the plate and risk getting injured when the division is all wrapped up
Not so sure Uribe would want to risk the same thing by going after Naps.
But you saw and thought the same………..good throw no short hop on the throw
Willie Mays Aikens is FREeeeeeeee

Good point about Uribe.
The last guy that tried to tackle Naps got a face full of glove for his trouble, while Naps didn’t even budge.

Uh.. 6 out of 60 is 90%
That’s about as good as you’ll find in baseball.
~Till the Halo burns out...
okay.............
but its not fair to always say “its okay” when he blows it……..just like its not okay to not give him credit when he does close it out………..plus……Im more okay with a blown save when he inherits runner………and not so okay when he allows the leadoff guy to get on……..thats asking for trouble.

I know it's not okay.
I just hate how a blown save immediately becomes an excuse to drop on him. There are a lot of other reasons we’re tied right now.

Don't Care...
as long as The Halos WIN ! ! !
When I'm not at the stadium, I'd rather be watching my Halos back in Costa Rica!

Reggie pinch hit for him in the 9th.
Not one of Mike’s best moves.

Thanks for the update.
I’ll take a bad move over another bad hammy. Figured the only way Reggie PHs in a close game is if Nap was out with an injury.
Ain't no stoppin' us now. We got the groove!

Exceeding expectations is less a matter of luck than possession of certain assets.

Interesting to see....
how our middle infield handles some pressure.
Before Oct….
When I'm not at the stadium, I'd rather be watching my Halos back in Costa Rica!
Not to mention that this isn't the middle infield we'll have in Oct.
Hopefully.
