Angels are shut down offensively today. NOBODY gets past 1B. However, there are TWO rundowns between the bags during the game, one early and one late. And, in counting up the Halos that touched the ball in the rundowns, it turns out that Moselely and GMJ were involved in getting Jeter out in the 3rd inning, and Speier was involved in getting Cano out in the 8th. And, in both cases, those players handled their defensive roles from 2B.
Nobody gets any points, but hauldog is a friggin’ hero.
