Kelvim Escobar

So i just got back from a little vacation and have been out of the loop on small things about the Angels. One of them is Kelvim Escobar. I know he has a torn labrum but is he done for the 2009 year as well or will he have a role? Might be a dumb question but i couldnt find anything for my self.

He is possibly out for the year, but could come back during the season. They are slating him for a potential bullpen position late in the season. That’s from the top of my head, no web links available to my cranium as of yet.

last heard/saw

he had the surgery around July, was recovering, and should be rehabbing sometime within the next few months.
if all goes well, we could see him back around late May/early June at the earliest, but i would expect him to be back around the All-Star Break.

Kotch would've had that.
