1. He’s only a child slaver if he’s convicted of child slavery, which he wasn’t and therefore isn’t
2. As a lawyer, if he’s brought in to defend a client, it’s his job to defend them against the charge – he’s not defending their right to carry on committing a crime that he may or may not be guilty of committing in the first place. I’m not particularly a big fan of murderers, but I support the need for them to be defended at trial to uphold the rule of law
3. I only scanned the article, but from what I can make out, he wasn’t personally involved in the case anyway

I appreciate that you may have a rather permissive approach to what does or doesn’t constitute cheating – many baseball fans do (which perhaps speaks to how baseball got in the steroid mess in first place) – and seem to have a gripe with those that choose to expose it, but a little objectivity might not go amiss once in a while. Mitchell is not the antichrist.

And in the interests of declaring my own conflicts of interest:
