Angels License Plate
I was driving in Richmond today (Sunday) and have a VA plate that reads GO HALOS. Some guy pulls up next to me and starts waving at me and I couldn't figure out why until he drove by me and also had an Angels license plate that read ANAHEIM, with an Angels sticker on it. I was just wondering if this guy might also be a member on this web site, as there are not too many Angels fans in Virginia. So if you are reading this and have a black pickup truck with an Anaheim license plate and Angels sticker, and drove by a red pick up trick with the GO HALOS license plate and sticker, and waved to me furiously on rt. 64 West at about 1:00, then I'm probably talking about you. Let me know if you're on here too! Go Halos!
P.S. Does anyone else on this web site have any Angels related vanity plates they would like to post? I'd be willing to bet they are harder to get than in Virginia.

Good post
I’ll be honest I live in a mostly Dodger town so not much Angels gear down here. But I have a license plate frame on both plates. But when I goto the games or on my way to the game I see tons of Halo stickers, but never a GO HALOS or ANAHEIM Plates, but I am sure it is very hard to get one out here.

I live in Boston
I would fear for my life wearing non-Sox/Patriots/Celtics/Bruins paraphernalia. Actually, it would probably only result in jeering and mocking right now, but some day I shall have my revenge upon Boston smugness. I might not be able to resist breaking out the cap then.

Being black in South Boston would probably elicit the same fears.

Bill Russell wasn't around, so I asked Wikipedia
Good lord…maybe I won’t be wearing my cap around here after all.

I live in central PA
and the last time I went to So Cal to visit family I got an Angels liscence plate, an Angels antenna ball, and one of those balls that you place on your window that looks like your window got broken by it. The day I got home I put them all on my car, and a lot of people here (phillie fans) ask me what they stand for, and I am proud to back my team in any kind of shouting match they want to start.

Boston fans
I went to Boston to see a 3 game series against the Angels in ’03, and I wore my Angels stuff to all the games, and no one said a thing. I have heard my biggest horror stories from Philly and NC Statem which to my knowledge is the only NCAA stadium to let their fans leave and return inbetween quarters, clearly to drink and get out of control. Any schools like that on the west coast?

I was driving in the same area at the same time
I drive on 64 alot since my family lives outside Richmond and I go to school in Norfolk. I didn’t see either license plates, but I do have a few Angels window decals and a license plate abbreviation of Rally Monkey.

I think there’s a “missed connections” portion of Craigs List where you can air this kind of post. ;)

he's just trying to make the world a smaller place
and excited about HH/Angels from a far away land.
When I lived in Ohio, it was the same cheap thrill when I found an Angels fan. Give ’em a break. Think kiddie at Christmas time…same feeling.

My bad
I just thought it would be a neat story, where I’m from there aren’t too many Angels fans around, didn’t think people would be that bothered by it.
