We need you Figgy
Other than the walk in 9th, and it was a big walk, Chone Figgins was not a factor offensively in the series. Yet the Angels were still able to sweep the RedSox, but i don't know if we can keep advancing without him getting on base.
Defensively i know he'll do the job. He deserves a gold glove this year and i believe he will get it.
I will give him credit for staying at third on Abreu's double in the 9th. I'm sure he was very tempted to try to score, especially when the ball skipped away from the fielder. If he goes they probably throw him out and we go to game 4. If u watch the highlights again check it out. It was a great win today and hope that there is plenty more.
Go Angels!!!!!

I miss the replays that FSN West had in the regular season...
I want to watch the game, as I only caught parts of it via radio and on ESPNZone’s lame-ass TV out in front of their restaurant.
I love this team.

Might be nice if Desmond showed up
And this is coming from a man who would marry him :)
Don't call me Desmond!

I have full, 100% faith that Chone will show up and lead the Angels to some wins yet.
It has been disappointing to see him struggle through the series with the Sox, but I am not worried, not one bit, and I’m ready for the exciting games to come with Figgy leading our offense as he has so much this season.
Let's do this for Nick Adenhart, Courtney Stewart, and Henry Pearson.

Seriously, figy has been in some hell of a slump right now, and thankfully everyone most notable aybar and abreu have picked up his slack.
the trouble is every team in the league knows figgy is a huge part of our offensive game, and i think they pitchers have been putting a little extra umph to try to keep him off base than he is used to. After the way the rest of the lineup hit however, i think figgy will see some more friendly pitches.
In Kobe we trust!

Figgy is going to have to get it going...
He did have good #s against NYY this season hitting .333(13 for 39) with 8 R and 7 BB. Maybe it was nerves that got him in the ALDS, or maybe its just something mental with the Sox & the ALDS for figgs, but def. he needs to be the sparkplug for the halos in the ALCS. Would anyone consider bumping him from leadoff if he keeps struggling ?
