Torii on Hendu's first pitch: "That was terrible"
Great quote from our resident quotesmith:
"That was terrible," Angels center fielder Torii Hunter said. "I love Dave Henderson, but looking at that, I'm like, 'What are they trying to say?' They probably shouldn't have brought him out. It was bad luck, I guess."

That was such bad taste. They can suck a fat one for that

Such poor taste.
But didn’t affect the Halos! If anything, I wonder if it made them angry?

The current players are too young and have no connection with 1986.
However, I think old-time Angels like DeCinces or Grich would have been pissed off to watch Henderson’s pre-game antics.

That smug jackass Henderson and his pre-game "pirouette".
We should send Henderson and John Henry a couple of bottles of “recycled” champagne as parting gifts. Wish somebody had interviewed him after the game and point out that the Red Sox were one strike away THREE times. And then inform him that he will never again be invited to throw out the first pitch at Fenway. But he is more than welcome to drink the “recycled” champagne.
