Classy Vlad quote about Adenhart
"I'm not going to say it's my biggest hit, but one thing it brings to mind is that we lost a teammate earlier this year," Guerrero said through an interpreter.
"When it comes down to honoring Nick Adenhart, in that respect, yes, it's probably the biggest hit of my career, because I'm dedicating it to a former teammate, a guy who passed away."

Good words
I like that Vlad, who often seems aloof and solitary, shows solidarity.
I did not like Mickey Hatcher’s quote about Adenhart writing the Angels’ story in heaven.
R.I.P. Nick Adenhart - Always an Angel
Vlad has never been Aloof or solitary. He doesn’t speak english very well, so he tends to sit alone, especially if he’s struggling. But he is loved by his teammates, like he is loved by the fans. I get angry when I see the posts “me, Vlad, me swing” like he’s an idiot or something. Yet when they interview him, he not only comes off as humble and intelligent, he shows a personal level of introspection you usually don’t see in players. He is nothing is not one of the classiest players in the MLB. He plays the game simply because he loves the game.
My wife and I attended a "Photo Day" game a couple of years ago.
Vlad took the time to pose for more photos than any other player. He gave special consideration to kids. I really admired his effort.
I posted this in the previous thread...
SI has a really good story about Vladdy they just posted
After the game, when Guerrero was asked what pitch he hit, he gave an answer that summed up his 14 years in the major leagues: “I don’t know,” he said. “I just swung.” Reluctant as ever to accept attention, Guerrero dedicated his heroics to former Angels’ pitcher Nick Adenhart, who died in a car crash in April. Guerrero wore a T-shirt emblazoned with Adenhart’s likeness, and as the Angels dog-piled on the field at Fenway, pitcher Jered Weaver grabbed Adenhart’s jersey from a hanger in the dugout and shook it.

God needed a starter. RIP #34
I really hope Vlad goes into the hall. Even if he has to go in as an Expo (although I’d offer my first born child for him to go in as an Angel). He deserves it. He really has been the model Hall of Famer, great numbers and a great human being.
The only magic number now is #34

If this is Vlad's last season in Anaheim
That hit will be the one I remember most of all. More than all the homers.

Don't speak so fast
There’s still time for a bigger one this year…. ;)
This organization makes me proud to be a fan
Autry was a great owner. Morales is a great owner. Sort of ironic that we – so far – have won our only championship under the Disney banner … hope this year we change that.
Vlad is perhaps the most humble, self-effacing star in baseball. You have to love that.
John Lackey: "We fly flags."
i'm assuming
Morales = Moreno.. i know it seems like Kendry is the owner of this club with his MVP numbers, but alas, it is actually Arte Moreno! :-p
World Series '09 - In Memory of #34 Nick Adenhart!
