Did anybody else notice the score during the bottom of the 9th
While I was watching the bottom of the 9th yesterday, I was looking at the score, and saw it change a couple of time during the inning. First it changed to 7 - 7, then it changed to 7 - 6 with Boston leading before changing back to the correct score. Maybe someone in the TBS production truck was hoping if they changed the score on the screen it would change the outcome of the game?
Did anybody else notice this?

Yup
It was mentioned by a bunch in the game thread.
I'm not superstitious, but I'm a little stitious.

Plus there was a fanshot with the screencap.
Angels baseball. We do what we must, because we can -- HaloDutch
I wasn't online during the game
and didn’t feel like searching through the game thread to look and see if it was mentioned.
We're putting the band back togehter.
Yes, and I nearly hit the ceiling when that happened.
I immediately mentioned it in the gamethread as did a few others.

Thats interesting....
I was watching online and you dont get any of the TBS graphics. However, I remember balking for a second when Buck Martinez said that the Angels had TIED the game on Vlad’s hit…and I was like…wait, did the second run not score???
Then I realized Buck is just an asshole.

I recall that moment.
I may be an old geezer, but in my brain 5 + 2 still equals 7, and 7 is still 1 whole number more than 6.
When Buck said that I just figured him for a nincompoop homer. What happened next was the real stunner. Silence. Followed by more silence. Followed by even still more silence. Until finally Don Orsino solemnly utters the the fact that Angels have, indeed, taken the lead.
Orsino needed to let the reality of the situation lay there in front of him and slowly absorb it before he could bring himself to correct the stupidity eminating from his own booth.
oh man you are so right...
it was so surreal. There was SOOOOOO much dead air…I think Buck said one sentence about Fuentes in the bottom of the ninth and then nothing. He didnt say anything when they won. What a douche.

Yup...
my son and I noticed it…and I am pretty sure I commented about it in the Game Thread…it was priceless wishful thinking on TBS’s part! :)
Miss you Nick...! RIP
Me and my buddies noticed it too.
My cousin turned to me when he saw the wrong score and said “Whoa, Bud Selig or the people at TBS/Fox sports have some major pull to change the score without at least two bad calls.”
YOU DON'T KNOW THE POWER OF THE DARKSIDE.....
