HH member Hittheg sent me an email with not only a great suggestion, but an entire script for a comic. I added a the "Bring out your dead" part, but the majority was written by Hittheg.

I am especially fond of the “bring out yer dead” routine. When I was on Interferon for a year and some days was sick as a dog, I did that routine a lot when mr opiejeanne got home from work. It made us both laugh.

I really just needed a sign that read “I aten’t dead”, ala Granny Weatherwax. .

I'm a father of three

but now I know what it’s like to be a mother.
I feel as through I’ve created life.

WIHALOFAN has given me far too much credit. I agonized for weeks on how I could use the “turned me into a newt” part but could come up with nothing. He did it while reading my E-mail. He was also much more kind and fair than I (or that agent) by omitting references to the relationship between the Teix and his wife. Also, adding the Red Sox into the mix made the title work. As much as I hate to admit it, “Wholly Fail” is no way to describe the Teix’s stats, but it rhymes with holy grail, dammit.

Thank you very much WIHALOFAN, you’ve made my night/morning.
